PlayDAO Description

Overview

A platform to create positive change in communities through gamified merit-based reward structures. A tool for communities and organizations to operate more efficiently, allowing easier onboarding for beginners. Creates opportunities for contributing to organizations through scalable, stackable incentive task structures. A framework that organizations can modify for their specific needs. Built on the blockchain, with zero-knowledge proofs and open source. Substantial and more rewarding, because real life improves as well as being a game. Implements Smart City Solutions and Gamification to make work more fun, enjoyable and efficient.

A badge is a symbol that’s often used by institutions to recognize accomplishments and achievements; or to represent membership, authority or affiliation. Badges come in many forms such as physical pins, embroidered patches or digital icons.

Description

Web3 has created a movement to fundamentally change how we interact with each other in the digital world. Soulbound tokens (SBTs) are the latest emerging use case for blockchain technology looking to support an interoperable digital identity. With SBTs, alongside their applications and infrastructure, it becomes possible to create socially verifiable reputations and a more pluralist digital world of increasing returns. It’s a gamified crowdsourced ai taskboard, crowdsourced gamified DAO, gamified dao building. We are creating an application for anyone to start building organizations and communities on the blockchain.

Local orgs/entities sponsor tasks and pay into organizations built on top of the platform. Organizations are made up of contributors, quests, and badges. Contributors earn POAP badges for completion. Badges act as tiered permission levels, skill indicators, and arbitrary verifications within each org. Members with badges create quests within each org, and those quests are completed by contributors to the community. They are verified by an algorithm or by other members forming proofs in the form of badges.

Members prove their contribution by completing quests on the blockchain. Under the hood, actors who are receiving the badges are sending multi-signature transactions to different actors which can be other organization members, 3rd party off-chain micro-services acting as proof verifiers, or smart contracts. Parties that require evidence can receive proof using ZK, simhashes, or raw data. Examples of evidence are things such as passwords, government ids, pictures, documents, etc. Sending evidence over the wire usually entails some sort of online verification, but this can also happen IRL because the notary has the appropriate badge signaling its level of trust within the organization. Users have full ownership of their data.

Simhashed badges are then grouped into hash cohorts so players can link up with those who have similar interests and badges. They can then group different organizations to match with sponsors. Organizations create daisy-chained quests, exclusive events/quests for certain badge holders, or connect with sponsors and external members with matching simhash cohorts.

Sponsors support organizations and set up reward structures that monetarily reward people for earning certain badges. Monetary distribution is verified on the blockchain. Organizations are incentivized to grow and compete with other organizations through sponsorships and high value badges. Members are incentivized to contribute to organizations by earning rewardable badges that indicate their merit/level of trust/contribution/skills/experience. They increase their stake and access levels within the org. Higher level badges are used as proof to claim sponsor rewards & prizes.

AI assesses the skills profiles and tasks to more accurately and efficiently match people to the right microjob at the right time. AI image recognition models trained on certain environmental feature recognition analyze videos/pictures and create simhashes. Used for proving quest completion.
